Geraldine Ravesi

Geraldine M. Ravesi, 98, a resident of Minetto passed away on Friday, August 19 at her home.
Born in Wilder, Vermont, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Iona (Baker) Landry. She attended schools in Vermont before moving to Oswego. She then attended St.Paul's School and was a graduate of the Oswego High School. Geraldine also attended the New Rochelle School of Nursing.
Mrs.Ravesi taught nursing at BOCES for many years.
She loved to knit and travel and enjoyed gardening..
Surviving are her three sons, Michael (Christine) Ravesi of Minetto, Thomas (Marjorie) Ravesi of Oswego, Robert ( Charlene) Ravesi of Oswego, seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Ravesi on December 17, 2006.
Funeral services are private and at the convenience of the family.
There are no calling hours.
Burial will be in St.Peter's Cemetery.
Arrangements are in care of the Dowdle Funeral Home.
