Thomas M Culeton Sr, 61, passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2022, in Las Vegas, NV while vacationing with his wife Karen.
Tom was born in Oswego, NY on March 23, 1960. He was the son of the late Robert and Noreen (Regan) Culeton.
Tom was a 1978 graduate of Bishop Cunningham High School then became a member of United Association of Plumbers and Steamfitters Local # 73.
He retired in 2020 after 43 years of dedication to the trade. His career began working for his parent’s business Quality Plumbing and Heating, then he worked throughout the country at numerous Nuclear Power Plants in a supervisory capacity until his retirement. He met so many wonderful people that became his lifelong friends.
Tom enjoyed life to its fullest and always wanted to be surrounded by his family and friends.
His loss has broken the hearts of those close to him. He was always planning something at “The Barn” from steaming clams, watching sporting events to his famous fireworks display that he did every 4th of July.
Over the last couple of years during the warm months, Tom could be seen driving around with Karen in his Camaro Convertible exploring Upstate New York.
Tom was a member of the Elks Club and the Ancient Order of Hibernians.
Surviving are his loving wife Karen (Hillman) Culeton, his children Kathleen (Ed) Healy, Thomas (Amy) Culeton Jr, Michael (Scott Krajeski) Culeton, Katie (Travis) Monk; his siblings Patricia (Kevin) Jung, and Dan (Carrie) Culeton; his beloved grandchildren Regan and Caden Healy, Mary Kate and Caitlin Culeton, Gabriel and Charlotte Monk. As well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins all of whom he cared deeply for.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Robert Culeton Jr, sister Kathleen Culeton, and his father and mother-in-law Roger and Charlotte Peck.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10:00 from Christ the Good Shepherd.
Burial will be in St.Peter's Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dowdle Funeral Home on Sunday from 4:00- 7:00.
