Mary O'Mara Obituary

Mary Alice O'Mara, 74, a resident of Oswego passed away at her home on December 4, 2019.
Born in Oswego, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Patricia (Shickling) O'Mara. She was a graduate of the Oswego Catholic High School, Class of 1963 and the State University at Oswego.
She was a registered nurse at the Oswego Hospital for over forty years and was in charge of the nursing program and the volunteer program.
Mary Alice was a well-known softball player who played on many championship teams throughout her long career.
Surviving are her brother, Timothy (Kathleen) O'Mara of Buffalo and nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her sister, Carol O'Mara Edler and her brother, Thomas O'Mara.
A Memorial Mass will be held in the spring/summer of 2020 at Christ the Good Shepherd at St. Paul.
There are no calling hours.
Arrangements are in care of the Dowdle Funeral Home.
