Joseph R. Gallagher

   Joseph R. Gallagher,42, a former resident of the Oswego area passed away on January 24 in Boston, Ma.
   Born in Syracuse, He attended the Oswego High School and was a graduate of the Auburn High School.
   He was a member of the Boston Carpenter's Union #723.
   He enjoyed playing lacrosse and woodworking.
   Surviving are his father, Raymond (Cris) Gallagher of Oswego, his mother, Patricia Stormes of Syracuse, four siblings, Mollie Johnson, Patrick Gallagher, Katie Gallagher and Shane Gallagher all of Oswego, two nieces, a nephew and aunts and uncles.
    Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
    There are no calling hours.
    Donations in Joseph's name may be made to the Oswego County Humane Society, 29 West Seneca Street, Oswego, N.Y. 13126.
    Arrangements are in care of the Dowdle Funeral Home.
