John P. Outterson

 John "Jack" Outterson, Age 96, died at the Absolut Care of Three Rivers in Painted Post, N.Y. on Wednesday, July, 3, 2019.
 He was born on March 4, 1923 in Minetto, New York and grew up in Oswego N.Y..
 In 1946, he married Rita Rando, who was the love of his life. She preceded him in death in 2009.
 Jack was a World War II veteran, serving with 1st Infantry in Germany. He was awarded the Combat Infantry Badge, the Bronze Star and a Purple Heart.
 He worked his whole life in sales and sales management living in Syracuse, Chenango Bridge and Buffalo.
 After retiring, Jack and Rita returned to Oswego where he enjoyed golfing, skiing, sailing, kite flying, bicycling and bird watching. He was an RSVP volunteer and delivered for Meals on Wheels.
 Jack is survived by his daughter, Paula Mourhess and her husband Robert, granddaughter, Jennifer Suiter and her husband, Scott, grandson, Christopher Child and his wife, Lisette, three great-grandchildren, Hollis and Quinn Child and Vaughn Suiter and many nieces and nephews.
 Funeral services are private and at the convenience of the family.
 There are no calling hours.
 Entombment will be in All Saint' s Mausoleum.
 Arrangements are in care of the Dowdle Funeral Home.
