Francis J. "Bulldog" Woods, 70, a resident of Oswego passed away on September 25 at the Oswego Hospital.
Born in Oswego, he was a son of the late Joseph and Loretta (Keating) Woods and was a graduate of the Oswego High School.
He was employed with Stevedore and Papertronics before working for the City of Oswego, first for the DPW and later he retired from the Water Department.
He was a former member of the Polish Club and the Oswego Moose Lodge.
Surviving are his companion of 45 years, Sally Crowe, four children, Bernie Crowe of North Carolina, Scott Carr of Oswego, Brian Crowe of Oswego, Shelly Crowe of Delaware, two sisters, Margaret (Eric) Pollard of North Carolina, Patty (Bill) Evans of California, a brother, Joseph (Pam) Woods of Canisteo, eleven grandchildren, two great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Bulldog was predeceased by his sisters, Theresa Beshures in 1981 and Joann Methot in 2019.
Funeral services are private and at the convenience of the family.
There are no calling hours.
