To MY Hoefer Family:

My heartfelt condolences to all of you. So many times in my life I have thought of your Mom! She was, by far, the most influential person in all aspects of my life. Always accepting, forgiving, loving, sharing, supporting to not only her children, but for me. I have so many memories of my friend's Mom whom had 8 children, managed the family, maintained the house, washed who knows how many loads of laundry, cooked (especially Kapusta), canned fruits and vegetables, planted fruit trees, maintained an inspirational rose garden (oh, those tree roses were so beautiful), set-up a bomb shelter (under the side porch), sang like an angel, set-up the Christmas tree on Christmas Eve, warmed the waters in the big aluminum tubs for outside summer water fun, fed the birds - teaching everyone around their species, and so much more. After 65 years of my life, I have not met another women whom had 8 children...the love never stopped. She is now with Mr. Hoefer and other family members enjoying Heaven in ways she believed, prayed and spiritually prepared for all her life! Although she has passed, her spirit and all our memories will remain until we meet again! Much love and sympathy to all of you!

My deepest sympathy to all Helen's family and friends. I got to know her through the Philomelian Alumnae. I remember her quick smile, her infectious laugh, and her beautiful voice. The heavenly choir has gained another angel.
