Elizabeth A. Lopez

Elizabeth M. "Betty" Lopez, 71, a resident of Oswego passed away on November 27, 2018 at the Bishop Rehab and Nursing Center in Syracuse.
Born in Bombay, N.Y. , She was a daughter of the late Ernest and Ethel (Durant) Sauve and was a graduate of the Massena Central School.
Betty was a traveling nurse who later was employed as a nurse at the Migrant Daycare Center in Palermo.
She loved knitting and crocheting and enjoyed doing crosswords.
Surviving are her two daughters, Catherine Rosales of Chicago and Colleen ( John Buffham) Sauve of Oswego, a brother, John Sauve of Oswego, eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren
She was predeceased by her husband, Santos Lopez in 1994, a brother, Ernest Sauve and a sister, Mary Stickle.
Friends may call at the Dowdle Funeral Home on Sunday from 2:00-5:00.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 from All Saint's Mausoleum at St. Peter's Cemetery.
