Eugene H. Rowlee, 86, a resident of Oswego passed away on July 18, 2026. 

Born in Fulton, He was the son of George Rowlee and a graduate of G. Ray Bodley.

He was a Telephone Engineer with Alltel for many years.

Mr. Rowlee proudly served with the United States Marines 

He was a member of the Locked Stock and Barrel Muzzle Loading Club and loved to fish and shoot black powder guns.

Surviving are his daughter, Julianne Johnson of Fulton, a brother George Rowlee of Arizona, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his wife, Margaret Rowlee on May 22, 2024 and two children, Marianne Gillette and John "Jay" Holt.

Friends may call at the Dowdle Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2:00-4:00.

Services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
