Bill and I were on the same shift for many years . A great fireman and friend. He went on a trip with my son and I on my boat up the river to Oneida Lake thru the canal system and on the way back, He pulled a dog out of the canal in Fulton while I was going out thru the "lock doors". Then he said, " Hey John, pull over to the wall and I'll give the kids back their dog". I didn't even know that he saved the dog.
