Marcia E. Farrell

Marcia E. Farrell, 71, a resident of Oswego passed away on March 26, 2017.
Born in Oswego, she was a daughter of the late Avery and Mary (Bumpus) Johnson. Marcia was one of nine children in a close family.
Marcia worked as a nurses assistant at the Oswego Hospital, a crossing guard at Riley School and as a caregiver.
She graduated from the Oswego High School, Class of 1963 and remained active in the reunions of that class.
Marcia was fond of sewing, knitting, crafts and cooking. She also enjoyed camping and boating. Marcia was happiest while she was spending time with family and friends. She often put others in front of herself. Marcia was great mother!
Marcia was a member of of St. Peter's Church and was a devout Catholic. May God protect her.
She will be forever loved and cherished by her husband, Alan, her children, Aimee, Thomas and Emily, her grandchildren, Rebecca, Shannon, Erin, Finn and Caroline, her sisters, Elaine Croucher, Nancy Kraus, Dolores Wills, and her brothers, David Johnson, Robert Johnson and Daniel Johnson.
She was predeceased by her two brothers, William Johnson in 1980 and James Johnson in 2000.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 9:00 from St.Peter's Church.
Burial will be in St.Peter's Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dowdle Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4:00-7:00.
